COMICS & CAT FOOD
A suspicious amount of my monthly budget goes to comics. Most of the rest is claimed by my cat.
I’m Edu Wayne, a writer, scriptwriter and story creator based in Europe. I write every day, sometimes for brands and creators, sometimes to build fictional worlds that probably did not need this many complications.

I studied Social Communication with an audiovisual focus, worked in television and agencies, moved countries, built a career around content and eventually published my first book.
Writing started as something I enjoyed and slowly became the thread connecting almost everything else: scripts, social media, campaigns, blogs, fiction, comics and the projects I make for myself.
The constant is simple: give me a blank page and I’ll probably find a way to complicate it.
The short version. No dramatic training montage.
I won a children’s story contest at school. It was one of the first times I understood that making up stories could take me somewhere.
I bought the Harry Potter DVD collection and started studying audiovisual production. Looking back, the two decisions fit together surprisingly well.
I graduated, worked in television, learned more about scripts and creative spots, changed countries and became a Content Manager at an agency.
I joined a larger agency as a Content Strategist and creative. I helped create a story for UNICEF, won the internal stage, reached the final and lost. Still fun.
I started making social content about movies, series and books.
I started writing short stories, comics and novels and reached something huge for me: professional independence and control over my own schedule.
I kept building my own path around writing and content. Some projects move faster than others.
My first published book is real, new stories are taking shape and Edu Wayne now has a home of his own.
When I’m not writing, my time usually goes to comics, concerts, movies, games, Pokémon cards and keeping my cat better fed than I am.
A suspicious amount of my monthly budget goes to comics. Most of the rest is claimed by my cat.
I love music and try to catch live shows whenever I can.
I try to make it to the cinema at least once a week. Some weeks are more successful than others.
I collect them. My rarest pull so far is Froakie. The collection is a work in progress.
Death Stranding, Marvel’s Spider-Man and Cyberpunk 2077 when I want a great single-player world. FIFA and Fortnite when I feel like sharing the chaos.
A few pieces of evidence that the interests above are not theoretical.

My first published story mixes science fiction, mystery, memory and historical eras shifting in front of everyone while almost nobody seems to notice.
